OUR SERVICES
Physical Therapy
Physical therapists are movement experts that assist patients reduce pain, improve mobility, increase strength, and improve balance in order to prevent disability. They provide conservative forms of treatment to reduce the need for pain medication and unnecessary surgeries.
During your first appointment with Light The Path Physical Therapy you will be evaluated in order for a plan of care to be designed to fit your unique needs. Subsequent treatment sessions may include, but are not limited to therapeutic exercises and neuromuscular re-education. We also utilize a variety of manual techniques such as joint mobilization, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, cupping, stretching, therapeutic massage, and more. Interventions included in each session will be utilized so that you can achieve your personal goals. Education will also be incorporated into each session in order for you to have a clear understanding on your condition.
Our primary goal with treatment is to first have you return back to your prior level of function while improving your independence and quality of life. The focus is to have you return back to your typical daily routine without limitation from pain, joint stiffness, and other impairments. Once this is achieved, we also seek to progress you beyond your original baseline so that your symptoms are less likely to return. Progress during your plan of care will be routinely assessed and discussed with you. You will also be included in all decisions made regarding your course of treatment.
